About Us

What is an Woodstock Public Adjuster?

Because of the inherent conflict of interest that occurs when one person or entity attempts to represent both sides of a financial transaction, Woodstock Public Adjusters exist…

Policyholders have the right to hire their own adjuster to ensure claims are handled properly and fairly, just as insurance companies employ adjusters to evaluate insurance claims.

A public adjuster in Woodstock is a trained and certified professional. A license candidate must pass a background check, an exam administered by the State of Georgia, and have qualified experience adjusting claims.

Insurance policies are often complex and easily misunderstood documents. Insurance companies are challenged by the fact that they must serve two constituencies: policyholders and shareholders. That means they need to “save money,” so they value many claims and losses at amounts that are frequently insufficient (only a basic fix) to properly restore properties to their pre-damage condition. Having someone on your side who understands both the language of the insurance policy and how those policies are enforced can make a significant difference in the resolution of your claim.
